Deepika edges out Katrina at Cannes?

Will it be Deepika Padukone replacing her arch rival Katrina Kaif as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal at the 70th annual edition of the Cannel Film Festival to be held between May 17 to 28, 2017?

Katrina Kaif hasn’t had the best of times at the box office with her films not doing well.

She has already lost out on a lot of brands already, by design or default, and there have been rumors since winter last year that she may not be a part of the prestigious French brand’s jamboree located at the French Riviera in the Alpes Maritimes.

Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif apart from Frieda Pinto have been a part of the cosmetic major’s front line faces from Bollywood till now.

Indian cinema too has been on a warpath at Cannes with many filmmakers opting to use the European city to give a global presence to their films.

Interestingly this picture with a girl in a covered hat, clearly resembling Deepika Padukone was posted by the L’Oreal Paris India handle a day ago, has gone missing.

The tweet seems to have removed now. None of Deepika’s handles or her fan club handles have said anything as yet.
