Kareena not taking a salary cut

The makers of the film Veere Di Wedding were on a cost cutting spree and we had reported how Sonam Kapoor has been actively working with her sister Rhea to cut costs.

Meanwhile there was a rumour as well that Sonam apart from the film’s big star Kareena Kapoor had taken a salary cut instead of billing a ‘vishal sikka’ to the film’s budget.

It was being said that Kareena had herself offered to bring her monies down if Sonam was ready to go down on her monies so they could make a safe poject.

But now we are being told that there have been cuts on everyone else’s salary and bills, but no monies have been cut from Sonam and Kareena’s pay packets.

Veere Di Wedding directed by Shashanka Ghosh has gone on the floors already in New Delhi and Kareena Kapoor too had posted a very funny video on her social media where she was responding to her fans asking her where Taimur was and why was he not seen in the selfies put up by the girls. “Where is Taimur?” exclaims Kareena with a funny expression.

The producer Rhea Kapoor butts in. “He has been banned from the sets. He is in the hotel,” she replies.

Kareena then responds with another funny one, “I need a bodyguard. He needs an army!” Well, but that does not mean that you could have left him in the hotel alone with the nanny.
