Southern superstar and veteran actor Rajinikanth is all geared up to do his first item number for Aamir Khan's film 'Talaash'.

If the rumours doing the rounds of Indian media houses are to be believed, the Tamil superstar is charging a whopping Rs15 crore, thereby making it the costliest item songs ever produced in the 100 years of Indian film industry.

The song is likely to be shot at 50 locations across 200 countries and will also feature the who's who of Bollywood, cricket legends and politicians, reports Indian television channel, NDTV.

The film is slated for release in November. It was delayed as Aamir Khan was busy with his television debut 'Satyamev Jayate'.

Earlier, Rajinikanth did a cameo for Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One.
