SRK, Katrina's ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ premiere takes Twitter by storm

Despite numerous theories circulating among the media circles about how Salman Khan would skip the Yash Chopra tribute due to his rivalry with ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ star Shah Rukh Khan, the beefy actor sprung a surprise and attended the function.

Considering the premiere also marked the legendary filmmaker’s impressive body of work, Salman decided to set aside his differences with Shah Rukh, and pay homage to the late Yash Chopra.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Those asking, yes, all three Khans - SRK, Aamir & Salman - were under one roof for #JTHJ premiere. Premiere and post-premiere party rocked!”

Film critic Komal Nahta tweeted, "Yes,SRK,Salman,Aamir, all 3 under one roof for JTHJ premiere.And now under d sky at YRF terrace for dinner.Bollywood's Skyfall!"

"Since so many of u r keen to know, here's the premiere report of JTHJ:Emotional blockbuster.SRK,Kat,Anushka outstanding," Nahta continued.

Touted as one of the most grand premieres in Bollywood history, ‘JTHJ’ was unveiled as part of the celebrations to honour the great filmmaker.

Soon after the party was over, the B’towners tweeted their experiences.

Shah Rukh Khan wrote, "May Allah bless our film...it looked so beautiful on the big screen. Had a lovely time dancing and partying with all..."

“Just back from YRF and an evening filled with stunning presence, film and after party ...beautiful homage to the great Yashji –JTHJ,” tweeted Amitabh Bachchan.

He continued, "Danced my shoes off with all the youngsters .. an amazing evening... spending time with Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh, Katrina and Anushka."

Director Karan Johar wrote, "#jabtakhaijaan.....all about love and longing....it fills your heart!!!! And makes you fall in love with the movies......"

“Enjoyed every bit of the film Shah. All the Best 2 U & the entire team of JTHJ! Cannot feel my feet after all the dancing & partying,” tweeted Preity Zinta.

Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur wrote, "Standing ovation from film fraternity 2 Yash Chopra's final lush,highly romantic, beautiful looking love story #JTHJ."

Shabana Azmi wrote, “What a grand affair totally befitting Yashji.Premiere and party forJTHJ.veritable who's who of film industry.”

Choreographer turned director Farah Khan tweeted, "Never seen @iamsrk look soooo intensely sexy b4..JTHJ"

Sujoy Ghosh wrote‏, "saw jab tak hain jaan. and will see it again in the halls tomorrow. I really liked it. If you can.. go see. makes you feel good about love."

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh turned movie critic of sorts through his tweets. “JTHJ-anushka is outstanding with a character that makes u want this girl.Tough exterior & a soft interior.She shows u that love melts rocks!”

Neil continued, "JAB TAK HAI JAAN !!! A film that makes u believe that love is unconditional and forever. Brilliant,incredible!!"

He added, “JTHJ !! Yash jis masterpiece. Marks Katrinas finest performance. She makes you fall in love with her instantly.”
