How Salman helped Govinda

Salman Khan is a man who will go out of his way to help and old friend time and again.

And that is what the actor did to his friend Govinda. Govinda and Salman have worked in some films together – the last one being Partner which was an unofficial remake of Hitch.

Govinda had fallen out with Salman in between when he was very keen that his daughter Narmada be launched opposite Salman in the Dabangg series. But Salman was not too keen to get Narmada in the film and chose Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi to play the lead. As a result, Govinda made some uncharitable remarks about Salman, who maintained a dignified silence.

Recently when Govinda wanted to promote his badly made comeback film Aa Gaya Hero, Salman was gracious enough to invite him on Bigg Boss and promoted the film.

Govinda is out of work now and approached Salman to bail him out. Salman now has spoken to the channel where he hosts Bigg Boss to try and get Govinda on as a judge on a dance reality show that they produce. The show was initially set to be scrapped but may now be revived with Govinda, Malaika Arora Khan and Sridevi as judges.

Salman surely is a man who is a friend of friends and he proves that time and again with his deeds.
