Priyanka Chopra returns to India

Priyanka Chopra has returned to India to finalise her Bollywood projects.

After spending a good deal of time in the US promoting her film Baywatch, that is post shooting for it after having done two seasons of the CBS show Quantico.

"I am excited to be back home. I shot for two seasons for Quantico and have been out of home for a very long time. I am back to Mumbai's heat, the people and the smell of this city. I'm just very happy to be back home," she says.

Priyanka had recently mentioned that she would be doing two films. There was one project with the director of Pink Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury that she was considering and we are told that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to try and do a casting coup by getting her and Shah Rukh Khan together in his film production based on the Amrita Pritam-Sahir Ludhianvi romance called Gustakhiyaan.

The film was to earlier star Irrfan Khan but Bhansali convinced SRK to play the role.

Ask Priyanka about it and she says,  "I am here to finalise my films."

Quiz Priyanka about the recent controversy over singer Sonu Nigam's tweet about the Azaan waking him up every morning and she ducks the question smartly, "I was in America. I do not know anything about it," and she laughs.
