When it was revealed on Twitter that Bollywood star Salman Khan attended arch-rival Shah Rukh Khan's movie premiere 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' it became breaking news for the entertainment world.

Who broke the news? None other than a reliable inside source, Amitabh Bachchan himself. "Danced my shoes off with all the youngsters .. an amazing evening...spending time with Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh, Katrina and Anushka," tweeted Amitabh.

No sooner was the tweet read, the flood-gate of speculations began about what happened, how, when and did the arch rivals end their feud.

No one really expected Salman to show up at the grand premiere considering it was Shah Rukh's movie. Also Salman had been openly supporting Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son Of Sardaar’ on Twitter. Ajay filed a case against YRF for using its dominant market position to give more screen space to JTHJ.

But all said and done Salman did make an appearance long after the media vanished from the venue, hence no photographic evidence.

But did Salman arrive on time to watch the premiere starring Shah Rukh, Anushka Sharma and good friend Katrina Kaif?

The truth however is not so encouraging. While Salman came to the premiere, he did not watch the movie. He arrived late enough for the screening and hung around at the terrace with Rani Mukerjee.

When the movie got over, the crowd gathered at the Yash Raj Studio terrace for dinner. Though both the Khans were at the same venue they had hundreds of other celebrities surrounding them.

The confirmation comes from film critic Komal Nahta who tweeted, "Yes,SRK,Salman,Aamir, all 3 under one roof for JTHJ premiere. And now under d sky at YRF terrace for dinner.Bollywood's Skyfall!

It was an evening the industry came together to pay their tribute to the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra.

Salman Khan made sure he was there to pay his homage and not to kiss and make up with Shah Rukh Khan.

Though everyone present might have had a faint hope of witnessing Bollywood history, the two Khans decided otherwise.
