Katrina's secret celebrations with Salman

The birthday girl did protest a little too much. After claiming that she would be too busy shooting for her film on her 28th birthday, rumours have it that she actually spent her special day with Salman Khan and his family cocooned inside their Mumbai house.

Katrina's birthday is one occasion when she does not want to attract any attention given what happened when Salman threw a bash in her honour a few years ago.

For the uninitiated, host Salman and guest Shah Rukh Khan were engaged in a verbal war followed by a brawl. The duo had to be separated by Aamir Khan and even Gauri had to intervene. Ever since then the two Khans have been embroiled in a cold war.

Zee News quoted a tabloid as saying: “It was Katrina’s plan to fool the media and she did manage to some extent. She had her own plans chalked out and did not want anyone in the media to know about it.

That’s exactly the reason why she asked the shutterbugs waiting outside her home to not follow her when she left her house last night.”

“She went to Salman’s house and made sure that no one would notice her while entering the house. He did not invite people from the film industry for this bash. It was a small private affair with only few close family members and a couple of friends from the industry,” added the source.
