Katrina-Shah Rukh, Deepika-Ranveer now best friends?

Friendship in Bollywood bloom only when movies are signed together till the time of release.

What do we call these friendships...friends with benefits?

And in Bollywood if friendship involves the opposite sex they are always subject to rumours and link ups.

That having been said, it doesn't mean they can't be good friends (till the movie releases).

Take the example of Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif's friendship.

There was hardly a chance for these two actors to bond, not when Katrina was seeing Salman Khan and it was on her birthday that Salman and Shah Rukh had a show-down.

The Salman-SRK fight on her birthday on July 16, 2008 didn't allow her an opportunity to either do a film with Shah Rukh or extend an olive branch to him.

But now these two actors are very close, thanks to director Yash Chopra for casting the two in his next movie.

Katrina admits that she is equally friendly with Gauri (Shah RUkh's wife) and also shares a very warm equation with SRK's children.

We also hear of a new friendship brewing between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Again this friendship stems from an upcoming movie 'Ram Leela'.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, director of 'Ram Leela', reportedly instructed Ranveer and Deepika to get to know each other better, spend more time.

He wanted the actors to build up a good rapport to enhance their on-screen chemistry.

In the process we hear that Ranveer and Deepika are becoming good friends.

Of course these are just two recent examples, we can go on writing obituaries about the now dead friendship.

Only time will tell if the currrent equations will change or remain steady after their movie see the light of the day.
