Salman peeved with Katrina's wardrobe malfunction?

The ever-so, prim-and-proper Katrina Kaif was recently caught off guard during the promotion of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, when she accidently revealed her undergarment while attempting to sit down for a media event.

Her short, white Jay Ahr dress, turned out to be tad too short for her to handle.

With the media quick to flash the images, we wonder if it has irked her “ex-flame” Salman Khan, who is known to be fiercely protective about her.

When Salman and Katrina were a pair, he used to be so possessive that he did not allow her to step out in public till he approved her overall appearance.

There was a repeat of that kind of behaviour during the filming of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Salman had apprently thrown a fit over Katrina’s choice of costume for a dance number.

“Yes, there was an incident where they disagreed over Katrina’s costume in the song. It was over a particular cut in the black blouse she has worn with a yellow skirt,” ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ director had confirmed.

Rumour has it that Salman, who has issues with his 'woman' putting on tacky skin show, was furious when he saw Katrina step out in a tight outfit and immediately summoned her to change it.

Salman has since openly declared that he sees no harm in deciding what looks good on Katrina.

“You're working with me, you're my leading lady. Clothes are something you can see - what's looking good or not looking good. It will give you bad image or not... sometimes your blouse is low, sometimes the colour is not correct. So you tell that person go change, it's not looking good,” he had told the Indian press.

During an earlier interview, Salman had even claimed that his filmmaker-friend Sanjay Leela Bhansali was privy of his overprotectiveness of Katrina.

“I was talking to Sanjay when I noticed Katrina was going out. I didn’t think she was dressed right, so I asked her to change, which she did and left,” Salman had narrated.

For someone who has been monitoring her image and playing morale police, this little peak-a-boo is unforgivable.

And, if Salman doesn’t want a repeat of the free show, he might as well put a ban on short dresses or better still teach Kat a thing or two about how to sit right in a short dress.

Bad enough that she’s romancing Salman’s current rival Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen with ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, and now this.

Clearly, it’s a bumpy road ahead for Salman and Katrina.
