Dara Singh, the 84-year-old strongman and Bollywood actor passed away after battling for his life in a Mumbai hospital for the last four days.
On Wednesday, doctors did not give any hope of his surviving the crisis after a scan showed that he had suffered significant damage in his brain and was unlikely to wake up.
The veteran was moved back to his residence on Wednesday night.
"He is already home. Please don't follow us. When he breathes his last, I'll let you know. There is no hope," his son Vindu Dara Singh told reporters.
The actor had been rushed to the hospital after suffering a major heart attack and had been admitted to the hospital in a “critical condition" on July 7.
The muscle man was last seen in 2007 release ‘Jab We Met’, where he played the role of Kareena Kapoor’s grandfather.
