When Amitabh Bachchan said 'sorry'

“I am sorry,” says the Big B.

This attitude of the biggest star in Bollywood – Amitabh Bachchan makes him much bigger than the rest.

Come September and the sixth season of Kaun banega Crorepati begins with a bang. Unlike his usual punctual self, Amitabh Bachchan reached the location a good one and a half hour late and made good his delay with a heartfelt apology that was accepted by one and all. “I was delayed because of the huge traffic and hence could not reach in time for the event. I left at 10 am and it took me a good one and a half hours to reach the location because of bad traffic,” apologised the man with extreme humility.

This time around Kaun Banega Crorepati is not just going to be about the prize money, but also about the dollops of gyaan that Bollywood’s biggest superstar will dole out for the benefit of the audiences.

“The difference this time around is that the subject that we are talking about in each episode will go on to give you your rights on the said issue. The show this time around, will also inspire you to learn a lot and get a lot of information and knowledge, be it in any way possible,” says Bachchan.

The sixth edition of KBC has been thus dedicated to knowledge. And that one could comprehend with the way Bachchan spoke with aplomb. It will not be wrong to perceive that the audience is not just going to be treated to a good game of quiz, but also will get a feeling of satisfaction that they perhaps could get out of the Aamir Khan show Satyamev Jayate.

Who said, actors are not quick learners? And when it comes to the Big B, he is unabashed about the way he wants to learn things from the younger lot. Never mind if people want to tell him so.
