Brand-conscious Ranbir Kapoor 'lands in trouble' at Mumbai airport

The Mumbai airport custom officials found branded goods such as perfume bottles, clothes and footwear worth over Rs95,000 (INR) while going through Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's baggage .
For the love of everything that's foreign, Ranbir bought all these items during his London trip but 'forgot' to declare the goods at the airport.
It is reported that Ranbir Kapoor was fined about Rs60,000 at Mumbai's International Airport (CSIA) by the customs department for not declaring goods after alighting from his flight on Saturday early morning.
Kapoor, who is one of the prominent actors in the Hindi film industry, was returning from London on a British Airways flight, where he had gone to promote his upcoming film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.
Apparently, Kapoor was trying to pass through a passage, which is meant to be used only by officials and airport staff.
The customs officials detained him for over 40 minutes before he was let off with the fine.
The custom officials claim that it is hard to believe that Kapoor was unaware about the customs rules and regulations, as he is a frequent flier.
