Prince Harry got stuck in with a spot of boxing on Tuesday.

The fourth-in-line to the throne joined his older brother Prince William at Gorbals Leisure Centre in Glasgow before heading to the Commonwealth Games Stadium in the afternoon.

The royals met young people taking part in the Coach Core programme they launched back in July 2012 to help train sports coaches, and joined in with their training.

Donning a pair of boxing gloves, Harry squared up against Declan Gilmour, 19, from Castlemilk, Glasgow, who has been boxing for four years.

William and Harry joined about two dozen young people on the Coach Core scheme for a kick about at the city's Gorbals Leisure Centre.

They watched a warm-up session and joked and laughed with the coaching apprentices as they threw themselves into skills workshops.

Duke of Cambridge showed off his football skills, taking on his brother Harry as the pair visited a coaching project in the city.

Harry got physical sparring with some of the programme's boxing apprentices.

The brothers then faced off on opposite sides of a five-a-side game, jostling each other jokingly.

Harry's team was victorious with a 1-0 scoreline.
