Bigg Boss 8: Shah Rukh Khan accepts Salman's offer, with a disclaimer

The icy relationship between two Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan seems to have defrosted.

Both stars do not wince anymore before talking about the other and are open to share the same platform.

While Salman is ready to promote rival Shah Rukh Khan's next film 'Happy New Year' on his reality show 'Bigg Boss', Shah Rukh also accepts the invitation.

Not just that SRK calls Salman 'Bhai' (brother). Well, that's a change of relationship status between two arch rivals!

The upcoming season of Bigg Boss will start from September 21 and with Shah Rukh Khan's action comedy drama film set for an October release, speculations have started that whether the 'Chennai Express' star, will share the stage with Salman to promote the movie.

"We will do a lot of promotions of Happy New Year. The team does not need to worry. Though it is up to them if they want to come to the show or not, we will promote it," said Salman at the launch of Bigg Boss 8.

The 48-year-old 'Kick' star also joked that the promotional activity of 'Happy New Year' has already started.

After Salman's invite Shah Rukh said that it is courteous of the 'Dabangg' star to invite them. He also said that the team will be happy to go on the reality show but with a disclaimer.

SRK also mentioned that they will go "if they have time", but not to take it personally if they don’t.

"That (to go or not to go) will be decided by the marketing team. But given an opportunity and if everything permits, I would definitely go for that. It is very gracious of Salman bhai and 'Bigg Boss' that they have thought of me," Shah Rukh told reporters during the music launch of 'Happy New Year'.

"But due to some reason if I don't go then please don't take it as a negative," he added.

Post their much hyped 2008’s public fall out, both the Khans were seen singing praises for each other at various occasions.

They were seen sharing jokes and hugging each other on various occasions.

What makes things even more interesting now is that the Shah Rukh referring Salman as brother!
