Kangna Ranaut has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, be it her flings with co-stars or attitude on the sets. But amidst all of this, Kangna has proved herself as a good actress with a performance worth appreciating. Films like 'Fashion', 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' and the latest hit 'Tanu Weds Manu' are enough to prove her acting prowess.

Bollywood is all praise for this actress and Kangna gives out the best compliment she has received till date. "I have got many compliments for my work in 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' and 'Tanu Weds Manu'. And the best compliment I received was from director Ashutosh Gowariker. He sent me a never ending message appreciating my work.

I am being compared to the likes of Meena Kumari and Madhuri Dixit. What more can I ask for after being compared to these two great actresses. A new era in Bollywood has begun for me,” says the actress enthusiastically.

With so much of success and appreciation surrounding Kangy, we hope her tantrums don't reach a new peak.

Amitabh ain’t an oldie. He’s a hottie!

Sonal Chauhan is reveling in a return of sorts opposite Amitabh Bachchan in their upcoming film 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap'. Far away from being an oldie, Sonal describes Bachchan as a true gentleman and a hottie. "I feel privileged to be working with Amitabhji at this juncture when he still looks so cute and handsome. I cannot help but fall for him,” says the awestruck actress.

The movie is an action thriller starring Amitabh in the angry young man look, the way he was portrayed in his heyday. Sharing her experience with the Big B, Sonal says, "Working with Amitabhji in 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap' was a great learning experience for me as I would watch him act. During the whole movie I came to know the true humble Amitabh and it made me fall head over heels for him."

Sharing an incident that took place on the sets of the film Sonal says, "One day while we were shooting, a lady had come to meet Amitabh on the sets and said she was his great fan. She told me that she had met him long back and when she came to know that he was shooting there, she came down to meet him. No sooner did Amitabh see her, he very humbly wished and offered her a chair to sit. Irrespective of his star status he respects everyone." Ah, here’s one more person, out of those already existing crores, falling for the Big B of Bollywood!

Pritam in the line of fire

Salman Khan is all set with the promotions of his upcoming flick 'Ready'. Pritam has composed the music of the film with catchy tracks like 'Character Dheela' and 'Dhinka Chika' that are topping the music charts.

Pritam is known for flicking music at random, and Salman too seems to be in the know of his ‘inspirational’ music. Hence at a recent event Sallu said, "Pritam has scored the original music and not picked from Anu Malik’s song. Anu met me recently and complained that 'Character Dheela' was his tune. He also hummed the tune to me.

But I cleared the air saying we have made your flop tune a hit, so not to worry," trying to take a dig at Pritam, in the run not sparing Anu Malik too.

And what about the others who claim the lyrics to be theirs compelling the filmmakers to fight a copyright case for the same song. Guess the Pocket Hercules just want to ignore that for now.
