Rana shoot to resume without Rajini
 
Rajinikanth is all set to return after four months to the movie sets after being seriously ill.
 
Amitabh Bachhcan too had taken ill a few years ago and was not doing films till his health came back to normal.
 
Rajini is a few years younger than Bachchan and is taking the doctor’s advice seriously before making a return.
 
Rajini’s return to the shoot will be with the film Rana where he is expected to do a few good action sequences and hence needs to be in top shape again and hence the long rest.
 
As for the film, Deepika Padukone has allotted her solo dates earlier as has Sonu Sood and they will be shooting their portions with director KS Ravikumar before the big man returns to the arclights and then adjust their combination dates according to his availability.
 
It is indeed a pleasure for anyone to work with Rajnikanth and these actors are making sure that they do anyhow.
 
Poster girl spills the beans on Shruti-Siddharth

Striker and Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth used his entire clout to push a young actress called Nitya Menon out of a film where she was his co star… and all this so he could get in his love Shruti Haasan into the project so that they could spend a lot more time together.
 
But then, the news did not die a slow death. The blunt Nitya decided to go public.
 
“Shruti has replaced me in the project and it is Siddharth who wanted her in the movie and made me get out of it,” says the actress.
 
Nitya is the same actress who had earlier opted out of a movie herself opposite Anari hero Venkatesh because he was “too old for her.”
 
Ironically the name of the Shruti Siddharth starrer produce by Dil Raju is called Oh My Friend. Now we know why Siddharth did what he wanted to.
