Christmas in London for Bollywood's power couples

Bollywood superstarlet Katrina Kaif celebrates Christmas every year and she tries to make it to London. And the Christmas bonanza this time around will be that Bollywood producer director Karan Johar will be filming his movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London during Christmas because he wanted to capture the essence of Christmas in London which is much different than that of India.

Though most of his films have been shot in foreign locations capturing myriad festivals, Christmas has not featured on his festival list.

Katrina’s boyfriend and the head of the Bollywood youth brigade Ranbir Kapoor plays the lead along with former Miss World and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai and actress and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s girlfriend Anushka Sharma.

Last year too Katrina and Ranbir were in London to celebrate Christmas and ring in the New Year. Ranbir had thrown a grand party sand Katrina too had her own personal party with her family.

Katrina had to miss her Christmas celebrations two years ago when she was promoting Dhoom 3. She had refused two highly paid gigs in 2009 and 2011 for New Year to be with her family. And now it does seem that Santa Claus will fill her stocking with Ranbir Kapoor yet again on Christmas. Never mind if she will have to watch her beau romance Anushka Sharma for a while on the same day, but for reel.

Aishwarya Rai has finished shooting for most of her parts in the film and the London schedule will largely be with Ranbir and Anushka. And since the Indian cricket team is not playing any tournament by the end of the year, Virat Kohli could well be another guest on Karan Johar’s sets.
