Filming "Love & Other Drugs" might have been awkward for some actors, but not for Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway.

The pair reunite on the big screen after "Brokeback Mountain" but the actors left their clothes behind.

“It was a nude fest on set,” Jake, 29, told Access Hollywood at the film's opening night gala during AFI FEST 2010 in Los Angeles. “We were naked a lot.”

The film is about a salesman forced to compete in the cutthroat world of pharmaceuticals to hawk a male performance enhancement drug. Gyllenhaal's character will play the drug-pusher who meets Anne Hathaway's character during one of his calls.

And he said it wasn't just the actors who were forced into character, but director Ed Zwick also got into the swing of things.

“He was equally devoted to the nakedness as we were,” Jake said, adding that he was thrilled to be working with Hathaway again.

”[Anne] gives like an incredible performance in this movie and when you’re working with somebody who’s got the goods… it’s easy,” he explained. “Working with Anne was like playing with a great tennis player… it was fantastic, she’s amazing.”

Meanwhile, Hathaway's hoping the film's adult themes won't scare away audiences.

"[It’s] a lot racy, a lot racy, I keep talking to people who’ve seen the film I’m like, ‘Was it too sexy for you? You OK?’” she told Access. “I think it’s one of those [films] that you have to know someone really well to recommend it to them, but hopefully people wont hesitate to [see it.]”
