Just weeks after Jennifer Aniston penned a moving essay about body-shamming in the entertainment industry, the 47-year-old actress, got extremely candid in a live fan Q&A.

Aniston attended the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy this weekend where she was asked a surprisingly deep question by an audience member.

Jennifer surprised fans by revealing she once wondered whether she would be able to 'survive' the pain of her past heartbreaks.

The 47-year-old actress - who got her fairytale ending when she wed Justin Theroux last year - made the confession to a teenage fan who reduced her to tears by asking if she ever woke up in the morning and didn't know who she was.

Jennifer replied: "There are not enough fingers and toes in this entire room to count how many times that moment has happened to me."

Brushing back tears she said, "That moment has happened to me, like I can’t even, there’s not enough fingers and toes in this entire room to count how many times that has happened.

"I mean, my gosh, we’re all human beings at the end of the day, whether we’re a waitress or a baker or a student or whatever we are, at the end of the day you kind of hit walls and think you can’t go any farther and think this is too much, my heart can’t take it or the pain is too great. Am I good enough? Will I survive? You just have to sort of somehow miraculously overcome."

The crowd cheered in response to Aniston’s inspiring words, and the 'Friends' actress added a final note of encouragement to the teen who asked the question.

"And also know that your actors, your idols, your icons, whatever you call them, have all had that experience in their lives many, many times. There’s nothing that separates us from you because we all started at the same place. We all came out of nowhere. We were all born innocent little empty vessels so don’t punish yourself. Go talk to people, seek help and just find someone to inspire you," she said.
