Salman Khan appears to have found a new fan. And no, it’s not some Romanian beauty this time around.

It appears ‘Baywatch’ actor, producer, David Hasselhoff is the latest star to sing praises of the ‘Dabangg’ actor, even announcing to the world that he wants to work with him in future.

Could Hollywood be calling for the ‘Bigg Boss’ host? Or would Hasselhoff be ready to run around trees in an ‘item song’?

This remains to be seen.

The Twittersphere, however, was taken by storm this weekend when ‘The Hoff’, as he is popularly know’ took to the microblogging site to tweet to the Bollywood star’s official Twitter handle: “@BeingSalmanKhan Hey, it’s the Hoff, Knightrider/Baywatch. Loved you in ‘Dabangg 2’! Would love to hook up for a movie together!”

While Khan has yet to respond to the tweet, fans retweeted the message and have displayed excitement over the possibility the two actors may come together in future.

A collaboration with The Hoff won’t be Khan’s first brush with Hollywood, with the actor having worked with Ali Larter in 2007’s debacle, ‘Marigold’.

Hasselhoff, who was in Abu Dhabi last month during the F1 Grand Prix, first gained popularity for his role as Michael Knight in the famous TV series, ‘Knight Rider’, before ‘Baywatch’ came his way.

Following his TV stints, the 61-year-old, who is also a singer, judged judged ‘America’s Got Talent’ from 2006 to 2009 before participating in the reality TV show, ‘Dancing With The Stars’ in 2010.

Meanwhile, Khan is currently grabbing headlines with the trailer launch of his upcoming ‘Jai Ho’, which was filmed partially in Dubai.

The movie releases on January 24 worldwide.
