This Bollywood couple, Bipasha Basu and John Abraham, broke up after going strong for 10 years, which is a long time for a pair to remain committed in the film world without a piece of paper to formalise that relationship.
However, cheating allegations did crop up after the duo split. John preferred to remain silent on the issue for a long time, but he has broken his dignified silence to deny the claim, no matter what source it generated from.
He was recently quoted by Hindustan Times as saying that he understands the different emotions that play up after a failed relationship, however, he had been honest with Bipasha till the break up and never cheated on her.
He told the daily: "Cheating and dishonesty, in any form, is not in my DNA. It is unfortunate if my silence is mistaken as acceptance for things said about me. I have always maintained a dignified silence because that is how I am raised. I have a clear conscience."
John has moved on from the failed relationship and is happy with Priya Runchal, an investment banker by profession, and he is happy and contented and not under pressure from any quarters, parents or girlfriend, to formalise this relationship.
He is enjoying his successful run of his production house, Vicky Donor and as winner of Most Stylish Man award during the GQ Men of the Year Awards 2012.
