Kareena Kapoor is Asia's sexiest woman

Riding on the success of 'Bodyguard' and 'Ra.One', Kareena Kapoor has emerged as the sexiest Asian woman in the world, according to a latest survey.

In an online survey conducted by Eastern Eye, a weekly, on social networking sites such as facebook and twitter, Kareena has been voted as the sexiest Asian woman in the world

She ousted last year's winner Katrina Kaif by a margin of 1% votes.

Katrina, who had won the title for the last three years by a large margin, slipped into second place.

Although the list contained pop stars, TV personalities, models and film stars from around the world, the voting quite comprehensively showed that Kareena and Katrina have put a distance between themselves and the rest of the contenders in terms of popularity.

Priyanka Chopra was voted third and Bipasha Basu followed suit on fourth position.

Freida Pinto with her international fame gave them some fight and secured the fifth post. Deepika Padukone manages to grab the seventh place.

Hrithik Roshan's wife Sussanne Khan received a massive number of votes and was one of the highest new entries at number 16.

New entries included Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Sonakshi Sinha (38).

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Lara Dutta, Malaika Arora and Sonam Kapoor also featured down in the list.
