Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who is miffed after being photographed in her bikini with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, is now super conscious of her image and has decided to go on "No Bikini" clause.

On-screen and off-screen - The leaked pictures of hers in Spain has prompted the actress to swear off swimwear.

And this righteous decision after having posed scantily for the cover of Cosmopolitan and her first movie 'Boom'.

Bollywood Mantra has reported that Katrina has resolved to never wear a bikini even on the beach!

Her friend said, “Shorts and a top. That will be her mandatory beachwear from now on. This experience has taught Katrina never to let her guard down.”

The no-bikini clause will now be a mandatory part of Katrina’s career. In fact, she isn’t wearing a bikini either in 'Dhoom 3’ or in 'Bang Bang'.

The pictures of Katrina holidaying on a beach in Spain were plastered on every newspaper, magazine and web portals.

It snowballed into a major controversy when the actress wrote an open letter to the press questioning the ethics of printing pics from a very private moment.

She requested all to refrain from running these pictures but her letter backfired resulting into more news capsules about the episode.

Clearly, she is not familiar with how paparazzi works.

Why the Spain pictures upset the actress so much is confusing? Is it because she was wearing a bikini or is it because she was wearing a bikini and pictured with Ranbir Kapoor?

The two have till now managed to hide their relationship from public and have maintained "good friends" chant.

Wearing a bikini in a beach in Spain is commonplace, if she was fully dressed and swimming that would have raised more eyebrows.

Appearing scantily dressed on screen doesn't mean that a person loses any right over their body and image. But expecting the media to give up on a bit of harmless gossip is rather naive.

She can, of course, wear the deepest plunging blouse and the shortest version of saree (if you call that a saree) for millions of viewers in her "Chikni Chameli" and "Sheila ki Jawaani".

But then she can argue that these dance sequences are shot creatively - yes creative enough to focus of the heaving and pelvic movements.

This underlines her wish to be viewed as a virtuous lady who cannot do anything wrong - who said wearing a bikini is wrong? Of for that matter being seen with boyfriend is wrong?

Part of Katrina's indignation comes from the fact that lies have been exposed and her relationship has been revealed in public.

And no harm if Katrina doesn't wear a bikini next time, as it is her choice of beach wear is not great (considering the white and red sloppy lingerie she was wearing).
