Kim Kardashian West has turned to Jessica Simpson for advice on maintaining her figure after announcing she was expecting her second child with her husband Kanye West.

The 34-year-old reality TV star is expecting her second child with her husband Kanye West and has reportedly sought advice from the blonde beauty, who has son Ace, 20 months and two-year-old daughter Maxwell with Eric Johnson, on how to control her weight while pregnant.

A source told ‘OK Magazine.com’: "Kim has been leaning heavily on Jess for advice on staying in shape during her second pregnancy.

"Jessica had a similar experience and ballooned first time but kept it under control the second. She's proving to be a class-A mentor for Kim."

The raven-haired beauty and the singer-turned-fashion designer are said to have "always considered each other to be rivals" but have bonded over their desire to shift their pregnancy pounds.

And Kanye - with whom Kim already has a 23-month-old daughter North - is said to be thrilled that his wife has made a new friend.

The insider added: "Kanye's definitely encouraging the friendship. He sees a lot of synergy between Kim and Jess, from fashion to diets to reality shows. It's a no brainer."

A source said: "Kris is beyond upset The way everyone is jumping on that, 'I was mistreated' quote really rankles her. Kris feels she was the one who was hugely mistreated because Bruce wasn't honest with her about how she felt. She can't believe she's the bad guy in this.

"She is planning her own sit-down interview, probably with her good friend Kathie Lee Gifford."

Relations between Kris and Caitlyn - who revealed her decision to transition in an interview with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer - are said to have reached a low and they are unable to "agree on anything".

The source added to Heat magazine: "At the moment, Kris and Caitlyn can't agree on anything. Caitlyn hiring her own PR was a major slap in the face to Kris."

As she struggles to deal with the situation, the 59-year-old star is also said to be unhappy with her daughter Kim Kardashian West and her closeness to Caitlyn.

The source said: "She's feeling hurt by Kim because Kim is so onboard helping Caitlyn. Kim was even there for the whole Vanity Fair shoot and approved the team doing the new look."
