Kissing pic going viral puts Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli on the spot

A picture that has been going viral on Indian networks for the past few days suggests that Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli are a couple.

After being asked about it on national television, Anushka did suggest that the two were getting close.

But a picture that shows a couple kissing and claims went viral under the mistaken notion that the two were Anushka and Virat.

The picture is actually of Tamil actors Simbu and Nayantara, who were once dating, but have now split.

Much like the Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor liplock video, these pictures were carried by several websites, forcing  Anushka’s and Virat’s managers to fervently deny it was them in the pics.

The irony is that Simbu and Nayantara are now in a state of shock and are not speaking at all, as they do not know what to say about a picture that was taken in the heat of the moment a long time ago/

“People know that Anushka and Virat are dating. But these pictures have put them in bad light.

“It is rather humiliating that people publish the pictures and the names without verifying who is in it,” says a source close to the couple.

Virat Kohli though seems to be not letting anything distract him from the ongoing T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, where he played a solid innings on Friday to help India beat Pakistan.
