Kuwait, Dubai are you ready? Here comes Kim Kardashian

It’s pretty much confirming what we reported back in March, but for those needed the official word, here it is, straight from the diva’s official Twitter account.
 
Indeed, Kim Kardashian has finally confirmed the world’s worst kept secret, that she is heading back to the Middle East this October, with a definite stopover in Kuwait.
 
Albeit no confirmation has come as yet, the trip is expected to extend to Dubai and Doha, Kardashian confirming the same earlier on her official website.
 
Fans of the 31-year-old were already prepping for her imminent arrival, upon reading her tweet earlier this week, which simply said: “I’m going to Kuwait in October. Can’t wait.”
 
The confirmation came in response to a fan that messaged her about their impending trip to the Mideast this summer, stating that it’s close to Armenia, where the Kardashian clan have roots.
 
Earlier this year, Kardashian had posted on her wesbite: “We’re planning our next trip to Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai and the Middle East.”
 
The ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ star hasn’t confirmed as yet, but insiders are saying that the diva in question will be touring the region to promote retail brand Millions of Milkshakes once again, along with looking to expand her fashion line into the region.
 
Sources further add that bringing her down is retail chain owner and close friend of the Kardashians, Sheeraz Hasan, who pioneered Kardashian’s first trip to Dubai last year in October, along with mother Kris Jenner.
 
Earlier, Emirates 24|7 had reported that a Dubai-Kuwaiti blog site had confirmed that Kardashian was slated to be visit the Middle East on October 11, 2012.
 
The blog Moody‘N’Cheeky, run by two girls in Dubai and Kuwait, broke the news, stating: “Just got this news from the company behind the franchise of Millions of Milkshakes, Kim Kardashian will be coming to Kuwait on October 11th.
 
“She will be at the opening of Millions of Milkshakes and there will be other private events that she will be attending while she’s here.”
 
Meanwhile, Expat and the City blog has added another nugget, saying: “Shadi [Ghanim, the Al Recardo CEO, which has in its portfolio Millions of Milkshakes, Golds Gym and Ninas Paris in Kuwait] informed me she [Kardashian] will visit the US Troops while in Kuwait and it was his idea.”
 
The family’s last visit to Dubai was embroiled in controversy, what with   accusations flying after an episode was aired with scenes filmed in the emirate that were later alleged as fake to garner sympathy for Kardashian, who bore the brunt of a backlash from the public after she ended her marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries mere 72 days after the $10 million spectacle.
 
The accusations arose when Kardashian and mother were pictured outside a Los Angeles studio in December last year, wearing and carrying the same outfits, along with sporting the same hairdo and makeup, which was depicted in the scene filmed in Dubai.
 
Yet, it didn’t change the fact that Kardashian, along with Jenner, had created a sensation across Dubai when they visited last, with a media frenzy following in their wake.
 
Pictured in burqas, smoking sheesha and riding a camel, Kardashian was quoted at the time of her visit, saying: “I am obsessed with Dubai. I would love to return with my family soon.”
 
While no news is forthcoming whether beau and Grammy winner Kanye West would be joining his ladylove in the Mideast in this October’s trip, their romance is certainly heating up with the singer even serenading Kardashian at his latest concert.
 
The close-knit Kardashian clan, meanwhile, is celebrating the birth of its newest member as Kourtney gave birth to her baby girl over the weekend.
 
“Welcome to the world, Penelope Scotland Disick! Kourtney gave birth to a beautiful baby daughter on Sunday, and the whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her! She is absolutely perfect!” Kardashian posted on her official website.
 
The spotlight continues to be kind to Kardashian, as she is tagged for being one of the highest paid reality stars on US television, with her 2010 earnings estimated at $6 million by news website The Daily Beast.
 
Her family’s net worth was last estimated at $65 million in 2010 by ‘The Hollywood Reporter’.
