Judging from the harshest criticism of Lady Gaga, she’s nothing but a copycat who references everyone from Grace Jones to Madonna in her work and fashion.

How fitting then, that she should bring those research skills to the classroom!

The “Telephone” singer has reportedly put in a paper application to be a college lecturer, according to British media reports, and has asked about a position at the prestigious Parsons School For Design.

"She wants to use her fashion sense and avant garde art obsession to launch an academic career," the source revealed to UK newspaper the Daily Star. "She’s pitched to be an artist-in-residence.

"Nothing has been finalised yet, but she’d like to teach in the fashion design programme," they further revealed. "She wants to incorporate elements of music study, popular culture and media studies.

"If it goes well, she’d be interested in a more perm¬anent arrangement. She thinks teaching would make people see she is much more than just a flamboyant pop star."

And what’s wrong with being just a flamboyant pop star, we want to know?
