Yummy mummy Shilpa Shetty has been on a sabbatical for a long long time. She just decided to have a baby while she was taking a 'break' a polite word to describe an actress' daily routine in the absence of any project in hand.
Well, to get into main track, mommy dear is finally coming out of her self-imposed 'break' and taking her first full-time assignment - on the silver screen. (To be fair to her, she has done a couple of ads during her post-delivery period.)

Shilpa, sporting a new and rather straight hairstyle, is all set to play the role of a judge in the well-known dance reality show on television - 'Nach Baliye'. Bollywood director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis will be judging the show along with the actress.
What will be of great interest to watch in this show will be Shilpa's performance since this will be the first time that the former item girl will be seen shaking a leg in public post son Viaan's birth.

Considering that Shilpa hasn't really lost her 'baby' fat (as a result of closely following the footsteps of another yummy mummy actress - Aishwarya Rai) and regained her former svelte figure, her costumes and her dance moves will call for close scrutiny.
The 37-year-old, who had put on post-pregnancy weight, seems to be almost in perfect shape now. Dressed in chic, black shimmer palazzo pants and a trendy cream-coloured top, she used a front bow around her stomach as the perfect camouflage for any extra pounds. Nevertheless, she looked quite charming.
However, given that Shilpa is a terrific dancer, she will surely add an x-factor to the show with her gyrating moves even as 11 couples fight it out for the title of 'Nach Baliye'.
The show will go on air from December 29, 2012. This is the show's fifth season and it is making a comeback after a gap of four years.

However, given the top quality of the show, it has lingered on in audience' mind and the show has already garnered quite a bit of headline space after roping in contestants such as Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Malik as well as Rahul Mahajan and Dimpy Ganguly along with other celeb pairs to be a part of the show.
