During his visit to meet the England Women's football team yesterday the Duke of Cambridge revealed that Princess Charlotte had been "keeping him up all night."

During his visit to meet the England Women's football team yesterday at St George's Park in Staffordshire, in his role as president of the Football Association, the Duke of Cambridge was presented with a miniature football shirt for his newborn daughter, and revealed that she'd been "keeping him up all night."

The England Lionesses captain Steph Houghton told Us Weekly: "He said George is very lively, and Princess Charlotte has been keeping him up all night, giving him a few sleepless nights. But he said he was just happy to have them both here."

The football captain also went on to reveal that the Duke of Cambridge is "really enjoying" being a father to one-year-old Prince George, as well as Princess Charlotte.

Speaking to People magazine, Steph said: "All the girls were asking how Princess Charlotte is and Prince George and whether they keep him up all night. . . . He was saying he's obviously really enjoying being a father and Princess Charlotte is actually keeping him up--and probably why his eyes are looking a little bit tired."

William isn't going to be able to rest today though, as he is due to appear at a gala to mark the 25th anniversary of the Tusk Trust, a charity that he has been the Royal Patron of since 2005.

The Prince is expected to make a short speech in front of the 300 guests, including Katherine Jenkins.
