Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir, Bipasha - all in same boat

Actors and stars sometimes forget their mentors and payback time. But then there are the stars who take every chance to payback. Like Shah Rukh Khan, who built his bungalow Mannat with the money he made from the YRF camp and the advances Yash Chopra gave him.

“I have seriously learnt a lot from Yashji in the past 20 years of my work with him from my Darr days. I have been hearing what he has been saying and teaching me over the years and that is the reason why I was chosen to speak with him on his 80th birthday," remarks Shah Rukh Khan who has found himself to be a regular feature in all Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra films after Darr.

This was a tribute from a reigning superstar to his mentor. Yash Chopra was the man who made Shah Rukh the king of romance.

Saawariya boy speaks

Ranbir Kapoor may have finally made it big with a Barfi, but he does not want to forget the contribution that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made in his life by launching him in Saawariya. “I learnt film direction as well from him when I was assisting him and then he launched me. I consider him as my guru and my teacher,” says Kapoor.

Emraan Hashmi's loyalty to Bhatts

Emraan Hashmi was launched in the film Footpath by Mahesh Bhatt and the film was directed by Vikram Bhatt. “Whenever they write a role that suits me, they will ask me I will work in that film and do the role because they have launched me and made me what I am. Also some of my most memorable roles of my career have been with Vishesh Films,” says this nephew of Mahesh Bhatt.

Bipasha Basu was another actress who was given the best films of her career with movies like Raaz and Jism and when the chips were down this time around, it was a film like Raaz 3 that propelled her back into the big league. The film has virtually resuscitated the career of the actress who gave a flop like Players at the beginning of the year.

“I think I have learnt the little tricks of the trade and the fact that my baby steps started with Vishesh Films. Raaz was my first ever blockbuster hit and that also had Vikram Bhatt making it. I want to work with Vishesh Films in the future too and you know its destiny and whose plan that we had to come back together for Raaz 3,” says Basu.

Salman remembers Maine Pyar Kiya days

Salman Khan is also going back to the people who launched him in Biwi Ho To Aisi and later in Maine Pyaar Kiya by working with the Rajshris now when they need him the most after a series of flops.

Salman will be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s film Bade Bhaiyya.

Guess that’s one good way of paying back.
