Who can forget the infamous brawl between Shirish Kunder and Shah Rukh Khan at actor Sanjay Dutt's party?

Who can forget the jibes Shirish Kunder took at SRK's failed project 'RA.One'?

The editor-turned-director, who is married to Shah Rukh Khan's close friend and choreographer-director-and-now-actor Farah Khan, created a stir last year when he took a potshot at Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter.

"I just heard a 150 Cr firework fizzle," Shirish Kunder had tweeted.

Now, all that has been actually forgotten and the two have called a truce.

Shirish tweeted a public apology for his comments on SRK and his movie. "I'll always regret one thing that I feel very guilty about. I sincerely apologise for my tweet about RA.One," he tweeted.

Shirish has finally put an end to the ongoing animosity and everyone can live happily ever after.

His movie 'Joker', featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha will release on Aug 31.

Akshay Kumar has been conspicuously absent from the promotions of this upcoming flick.

Shirish and wife Farah Khan have been busy roping in Shah Rukh Khan to aid them in the promotion of ‘Joker’, and sources have revealed that the gesture has not gone down well with Akshay Kumar.

Akshay, whose friendship with Shirish Kunder-Farah Khan has hit a low point, will perhaps never have anything to do with the duo again.

So now fans can understand why this editor-turned-director is offering the olive branch to Shah Rukh Khan.

If one big dependable star is out of Camp Shirish, another has to rescue him.
