SRK pays Rs 5000 to Ranbir

Shah Rukh Khan finally gave Rs 5000 to Ranbir Kapoor for suggesting the title Jab Harry Met Sejal for Imtiaz Ali’s film.

We had earlier reported on Emrirates247 that Ranbir Kapoor had asked Shah Rukh Khan to pay him Rs 5000 for suggesting the title. SRK had announced that he would pay Rs 5000 to anyone who suggests the title.

“I want to tell everyone that the title is mine. I am not sad that I am not being given the credit for the title by Shah Rukh Sir, but I was not aware of the reward for the title (Rs 5000).

So, Shah Rukh Sir, I am coming to Mannat (SRK's bungalow) to collect Rs 500. Please pay by cash please.

To be honest I was shooting with Imtiaz Ali and Shah Rukh Sir and others at Mehboob Studios when the title was being discussed. We were discussing titles I was the one who suggested the title ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ and everyone made fun of my suggestion and laughed at it.

But today when I look at the poster I realise that the title that has been suggested is mine,” Ranbir had said.

SRK had earlier tweeted that he would not pay Rs 5000 to Ranbir for the title. But the actor had a change of heart and was photographed giving Rs 5000 to Ranbir.

SRK also shared a picture as proof on his twitter account where he is giving the money to Ranbir who is sporting a wicked smile as he takes the cash from Khan.

“Jagga Jasoos we r quits now!!! Hisaab barabar. Give @karanjohar his share for the ‘Jab’ part in JHMS please,” tweeted SRK also promoting Ranbir’s forthcoming film in the bargain.
