TV stars do not believe in Aishwarya Rai-type makeover

Be it the tinsel town or the small screen, stars are mostly appreciated for either their acting talent or their persona.

If we were to study the career graph of old-timers in the industry, we see majority of them have had a makeover.

While the Bollywood trend seems to be going from being fat to staying fit, small screen stars go the reverse - or at least they seem to be doing so. The hype over Aishwarya Rai's mummy look and the reels of media comparison of her to new moms such as Shilpa Shetty or Lara Dutta, only highlights Bollywood obsession for that perfect figure.

This obsession, however, has not spilled across to their tele counterparts.
