Coffee with Shah Rukh: 70-year-old Sri Lankan fan's birthday gift

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan recently made one of his special fan's dream come true. In a perfect Bollywood moment, Shah Rukh Khan met 70-year-old Shirani Samarasekara from Sri Lanka.

The star struck lady, who is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and his movies, visited Mumbai last week only to meet the actor on her birthday.

This trip was her birthday gift from her son who arranged everything for her. Before she flew down to Mumbai she got in touch with SRK's team and expressed her wish.

Shah Rukh, too, was curious to meet the elderly lady, who took pains to come from another country just to meet him.

Hindustan Times reports that Shirani stayed at a hotel close to Shah Rukh’s residence and one day the actor sneaked out of a media interaction session to meet her.

What followed was a heart touching conversation between Shah Rukh Khan and the 70 year old Sri Lankan fan. They spent almost an hour chatting over coffee.

She showed Shah Rukh pictures of her at various ages and she got them all signed by the actor.

They had a long, hearty conversation. Shah Rukh even spoke to her about his next film, 'Chennai Express'.

Shirani has been a fan of Shah Rukh for the last 15 years. Even at this age, she does crazy things like watching his films multiple times and covering the walls of her drawing room and bedroom with his pictures.

Her sons thought that a meeting with SRK would be the best gift for her.
