Coldplay magic spreads - autistic boy cries with joy at their concert

A tear-jerking video of a young autistic boy's heartfelt reaction to seeing his favourite band, Coldplay live is sweeping the internet - even being shared by the band themselves.

The poignant footage, taken by the boy's father Luis Vazquez, shows the lad and his parents enjoying the concert at Mexico City's Foro Sol stadium on April 19 among crowds of enthusiastic fans.

The video shows the young boy becoming overwhelmed with excitement, tearing up and placing his head in his hands when the music swells.

His father embraces him, cradling him as they sing the lyrics.

The child's mix of emotions are vivid as he watch one of his well-loved songs, 'Fix You' being played live by the British band.

The young boy moves his shoulders and dances, but is so caught up with emotion that he cannot help but cry and puts his head in his hands.

On witnessing his son's reaction Luis also becomes emotional and presses his son's head to his as he sings the words to him.

The dad posted the video online with the words: "Something my wife and I decided to share with the whole wide world.

"You have to watch it! It says it all! You guys #coldplay please need to see this!'

Amazingly the video reached Coldplay who went on to post it on their official page with the words: 'This kind of thing makes it all worthwhile.

It has since been shared thousands of times on Facebook and Twitter and has over 2,518,216 views on YouTube.
