Deepika Padukone will once again be seen with Saif Ali Khan after 'Love Aaj Kal' but this time around it is a serious movie. Having worked with several filmmakers, Deepika defines working with Prakash Jha on 'Aarakshan' as a great experience.

This venture of Jha's stars biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan and also Prateik Babbar and is majorly shot in Bhopal. According to Deepika Bhopal is one of the best places in India with an amazing climate. "I loved shooting in Bhopal, not only because it is a wonderful place but also the calmness and the freshness of the city which is truly unforgettable. We would pack up from the shoot by 5.30 pm and then I would have a quick shower and sit in the hotel balcony sipping coffee. I would enjoy the amazing sun set there which otherwise would be impossible for me. Also the residents of Bhopal were totally loveable," says the actress.

'Aarakshan' approaches the issue of reservation and quota system in India. Expressing her opinion on the same Deepika says, "Reservation is a debateable topic and a matter of vast discussion. Our film talks about both the positives of those who enjoy it and the negatives of those who miss out on the opportunity. People work hard, score well but in the end the most deserving of the lot miss out on several opportunities. Frankly I am not in favour of this policy or against it. I feel this is a serious issue and cannot be discussed casually over dinner. It needs proper attention."

Recently Prakash Jha had posted on a microblogging site how professionally Deepika had finished dubbing for the movie in a record of four days. Speaking about professionalism she says, "We actors need to be perform professionally so that the reel character looks like a real character. My Hindi is not as 'shudh' as Prakash Jha, but I did learn a few words from him during the course of the movie after all learning is a never ending process."

Being a glamorous actress, Deepika did not find it difficult to fit in the serious issue based film of Prakash Jha. "Actually, people have a wrong conception that glamorous looking actresses cannot perform well. In fact if we don't experiment with characters and portray different roles we will not be able to find a foothold in the industry. It was great pleasure working with Prakash Jha and I'm impressed with his way of working," says the actress.

After a steady relationship with Ranbir and a consequent break-up, Deepika was instantly linked with Siddharth Malya with who she was spotted most times. But the truth is that Deepika is ready to lose the love of her life for the sake of her loving father. "In the film I'm torn apart and have to choose between my father and my lover. For my decision, you would need to watch the film. But in real life by no means shall I lose my father. He has taken all the pains and trouble of my upbringing. I shall leave my lover in case the conflict goes beyond my control," says the confident actress.

This leggy lass has seen so much of success till now that she was offered a role opposite the so-called god of south, Rajinikanth. Speaking about the experience she says, "Working with Rajinikanth is indeed my pleasure and I had met him in Chennai. It was a four week schedule for the film, though I joined them a little later. Recently I could not pay him a visit when he was hospitalised but I sincerely pray for his speedy recovery."

This badminton champ who always looks ravishing, discloses her fitness mantra, "The best thing I do to keep myself as fit as a fiddle is that I walk. Whenever I am at home, I walk up and down the stair case. Even when I am travelling I prefer to use the stairs that the life," says Deepika.

Last year this beauty had made her presence felt at the Cannes International Film Festival but this has given the ongoing festival a miss. Reminiscing the visit she says, "Last year I had not gone to Cannes to promote my film but was representing a brand there. Cannes is one of the most beautiful places to be and I always enjoy each visit to that place. It is my favourite holiday destination."

With 'Aarakshan', Deepika promises to amaze her fans, even more than the still sizzling item number from 'Dum Maaro Dum'.
