Deepika Padukone's dance more entertaining than Aishwarya Rai?

The movie spells grandeur and is the amalgamation of his previous super hits 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Devdas' and also has glimpses of the sensitivity of 'Khamoshi'.

In fact, the latest song 'Nagada Sang Dhol Baaje' featuring fiery Deepika Padukone reminds us of Bhansali's favorite actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

 
The song has uncanny similarity to 'Dholi taro' from his super hit film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'.

Thus, a sense of novelty is missing from the beautifully picturised song.
 
However, added to the colour and festive atmosphere is Deepika's ever-improving acting prowess.

It’s learnt that the director gave only one brief to the 'Chennai Express' star – to make it as good as Ash’s dance number 'Dholi taro'. 
 
Deepika has come one step ahead and flaunted her graceful moves in this song. The actress has learnt to make use of those expressive almond shaped eyes and dimpled smile.
 
After three consecutive hits Deepika, has proved that she’s indeed racing ahead of her contemporaries. Her expression, acting, dance or plain beauty has become the perfect concoction for her success recipe. 

 
This song is not set in revelry mood, but depicts a somewhat tense situation of the film underlined with romance between Deepika and Ranveer Singh.

Teary eyed Deepika has been given some beautifully choreographed traditional dance steps. Her attitude throughout the performance matched the song which is part of the Ravan-vadh (killing of the devil) sequence of 'Ramleela'.
 
Hopefully after Deepika's commendable performance Sanjay Leela Bhasali will get over his favorite lady Aishwarya Rai.
