Watching Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor's weight was once a national pass time. She alone brought the size zero rage on reel and among the young brigades in real life.
Now, it looks like the actress' curves are under the scanner again, but this time not for being size zero but for being on the heavier side.
Kareena has been asked to tone down and don a leaner look for filmmaker Karan Johar's next home production 'Gori Tere Pyar Mein', opposite Imran Khan.
After 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu', Kareena and Imran would be seen together for the second time.
Director Punit Malhotra will be helming the project and it will go on floors from March this year.
Amidst all planning, Kareena has reportedly been asked to shed the extra kilos she gained for 'Dabangg 2' item number 'Fevicol Se'.
She will still be her voluptuous self, but the difference will be that her appearance will be more toned and fitter because she need to acquire such a look for the five dance numbers in the film.
In fact, Kareena and Imran are going to rehearse their dance moves for 18-20 days before shooting the songs. Kareena has already started working on her new look.
Kareena, who got married to actor Saif Ali Khan, seems to have gained the extra flab after her marriage November last year.
But Mrs Saif Ali Khan, a yoga aficionado, has already started doing her bit. She used to do lot of power yoga but have now started Iyengar yoga, which is more difficult and have already completed two sessions.
After all the pasta cooking for hubby Saif and donning the chef's hat, Kareena will now have to cool down the housewife act and bring back her glamorous avatar back.
