While Junior Bachchan has tweeted, in detail, about the theft at his dad’s house, stating it was just a regular robbery, many insiders are wondering if it was someone who actually wanted a glimpse of his grand-daughter Aaradhya, whose face remains hidden from the media.

The thief, who broke into Amitabh Bachchan’s mansion, Jalsa, on Saturday, has been arrested since and is under investigation.

Although numerous theories surrounding the real motive of the break-in has been deliberated, Abhishek took to twitter to set the record straight.

“He claimed to be a fan wanting to meet dad. Find that very hard to believe. He’s in police custody now and they are investigating,” ‏@juniorbachchan tweeted.

Further adding, “A fan would not break into a house and steal money!”

Big B blogged about his anger and vulnerability, writing, “Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in! The guy was caught and is with the police now under investigation. Seems like a professional, for he had entered the most sensitive area of the house, Jalsa.”

Since Aishwarya and her baby Aaradhya also live in the same house, it could be that the man was just an inquisitive fan, who wanted a glimpse of Beti B.

According to the India Today, Deepak Kewat (30), entered the heavily guarded residence of the actor by first climbing a gulmohar tree adjoining Bachchan's bungalow. He then jumped on to a tin shed that was put to prevent water from entering into the bungalow. Kewat first jumped on to the balcony of one of the bedrooms on the top floor and entered the bedroom. He also took INR 8,000 from a chest drawers in the bedroom.

The cops have charged him with house breaking and theft. He has been remanded in police custody for 14 days, the magazine reported.
