Kim Kardashian and controversies go hand in hand. So we are not surprised that a few weeks into the New Year, the reality TV star is embroiled in yet another saga that reels Dubai into the picture.

On a recent episode of her reality TV show, “Kourtney and Kim Take New York”, the diva is seen discussing details of her troubled marriage with mother Kris Jenner.

Normal right? It would have been considering the particular episode was shot in October during the duo’s visit to Dubai for the store opening of Millions of Milkshakes; this is right around the time rumours of the first crack in Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries had started to circulate in the media.

Kardashian filed for divorce a few weeks after this alleged taped conversation.

However, the plot thickened when on December 6, Kardashian and her mother were caught on camera by the paparazzi, exiting a studio in Los Angeles wearing and carrying the exact same outfits that they can be seen wearing in the Dubai scene.

Even the make-up and hairstyle was exactly the same as shot in the Dubai segment.

The final segment that appeared on the reality show in January saw the duo in those very outfits, seated in a car in Dubai with blacked out windows, with Kardashian saying: …“There’s something in my relationship that I just feel, like isn’t right.”

As the scene continues, the 31-year-old tells her mother that she isn’t too keen to return home to her husband and asks her if it’s “normal” to feel that way after just getting married.

Jenner appears surprised at this and tells her daughter this is not normal, adding: “It really isn’t normal to feel like you don’t want to home to your brand new husband. This is the stage in your relationship where you should be obsessed with each other, and you miss each other.”

What’s more, at one point in the conversation between mother and daughter, Kardashian’s voice changes into someone else’s as the camera pans away from her to focus on Jenner while discussing said marital problems.

With the voice change and photographic evidence now placing this scene being filmed two months after the separation, it is now being wildly speculated that Kardashian faked this Dubai scene to generate sympathy amongst fans in lieu of the backlash she’s been facing since her 72-day marriage to the basketball player disintegrated into divorce.

The negative stories that have circulated include the marriage itself being called a cheap publicity stunt to garner fast cash and generate high ratings for her TV show.

Adding more fuel to the currently raging fire is Humphries himself, who shortly after the episode was aired, took to micro blogging site Twitter to say: “I can’t wait for the truth to come out! People will be surprised or maybe they won’t.”

Kardashian trip to Dubai in October last year saw the socialite mesmerised by all things Arabia, saying at the time: “I hope to be a positive brand ambassador for Dubai. I have travelled a lot in the last couple of years and I love spreading the word when I like a place; and Dubai feels like home.

“I’m amazed how similar it is to America, like a Las Vegas or a Miami wrapped in one.”

The five-foot two inch beauty also talked about bringing her business empire to Dubai, telling Emirates 24|7 that while no timeframe has been set yet, the Kardashian brand would make its mark here.

“I haven’t met anyone as of yet to draw up a business plan, but I have met a lot of different people who have impressed me to go ahead with my plans here,” she said.

Kardashian also had her reality show cameras following her around even here, with her adding: “Maybe my sisters and I can take Dubai in a new reality show.”

The businesswoman, model, reality TV star and diva first shot to fame back in 2007, when a lewd video of hers with then boyfriend, R&B star Ray J.

But it was shortly after, that Armenian-American really came into her own later that year when she, along with her two sisters (reality TV stars Khloe and Kourtney), mother, brother, half-sisters, and stepfather starred in the E! TV series, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”.

The series has aired five seasons to date, with two spin-off series.

After a few stints in Hollywood, a nude Playboy magazine cover and a stint on reality TV show “Dancing With The Stars”, Kardashian’s image went in for a makeover of sorts, when she branched out into the business side of things and launched a boutique line with her sisters, D-A-S-H.

The clothing line has expanded over the years, with one called K-Dash for Bebe and another for Sears, called the Kardashian Kollection.
