Khloe Kardashian reportedly staged an intervention for her husband on Wednesday (21.08.13), amid allegations he has a serious drug problem.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, 29, joined forces with several family members in a desperate bid to convince Los Angeles Clippers star Lamar Odom, 33, who was recently accused of cheating on her by two different women, to seek treatment in rehab but the meeting did not go as planned.

Now Khloe Kardashian has reportedly thrown husband Lamar Odom out of the house due to his alleged drug abuse.

The couple has been subject to persistent rumours that their marriage is in trouble after Lamar, 33, allegedly cheated on Khloe, 29, with two different women.

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: "Lamar has lost a ton of weight in the last few months which triggered a lot of the concern amongst the family.

"Lamar does not want to go to rehab because pre-season training camps are just around the corner.

"He just doesn't care about anyone or anything right now. He has had it with the Kardashians and just wants to be left alone. Everyone is very, very, worried about him."

Other sources confirmed to TMZ.com that the former LA Lakers star, who has been married to Khloe for four years, has had a problem with "hard-core recreational drugs" for two years and claim he secretly went to rehab in San Diego for three weeks in August 2012.

Lamar, who won two championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, stayed clean and played well last season for the Los Angeles Clippers, but sources said he resumed using drugs after the season.

According to Radar Online, Lamar has allegedly been taking prescription drugs Oxy-Contin, known as “hillbilly heroin”, and Ambien.

Khloe was convinced of recent reports of Lamar's infidelity, but feels his drug abuse has been the main problem, the website reported.

Neither Khloe nor Lamar has contacted a divorce lawyer.

One source added: "Khloe is more concerned about saving Lamar than ending her marriage."

Khloe has yet to comment on the allegations but tweeted a message to her fans on Friday (23.08.13), saying: "Your energy is what keeps me going..."

Earlier this week she also posted on Instagram: "NEVER JUDGE SOMEONE WITHOUT KNOWING THE WHOLE STORY. YOU MAY THINK YOU UNDERSTAND BUT YOU DON'T."
