Priyanka Chopra turns DJ for her 'In My City'

Actor turned singer Priyanka Chopra promote her single 'In My City'.

First she was crowned the Miss World, she then won million hearts being an actress, next thing we know she is the new rock star in the block. But nothing seems impossible for Priyanka Chopra who now turned a DJ.

Priyanka has embarked on a multi-city promotional tour and was in New Delhi promoting her new single 'In My City'. The actress took over the disc jockey and belt out her music. (Scroll down for Priyanka's video)

The dusky diva was spotted mingling with the crowds as she did MC-ing and DJ-ing, which she followed up with a rocking performance.

Fans of the star were able to see her DJing skills at venues including Hard Rock Cafe in Delhi and Seven Degrees in Gurgaon.

It seems the pop diva is trying to reinvent her image - giving her signature body hugging dresses a welcome break, PC grooved dressed in hip tight black skinnies and a shimmery gold top.

The Bollywood beauty spoke about her acting career and also shared her enthusiasm and excitement over her maiden musical venture.

The only contemporary Bollywood actress to make a cut with her singing, Priyanka Chopra has shown the world her multi facet talented.

Priyanka's feel-good pop song 'In My City', which features American rapper Will.i.am, resonate the party culture of urban cities and debuted at the NFL in the US some time ago.

This is the first major international collaboration for Chopra, and she feels overwhelmed by the response to her debut single. The single has been written by Ester Dean and produced by RedOne productions which also produce music for Lady Gaga.

The album - slated for a launch by summer 2013, carrying songs with more lyrical contribution by the singer - is already a hit on the airwaves.

Priyanka also told reporters in Delhi that though she was offered songs by Indian music composers earlier, she had turned it down.
