Revealed: Which artists to perform at Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix

Algerian legend Cheb Khaled will be the headliner artist on the first night of the F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race concert.

The 'Didi' singer will be joined on stage by Lebanon's Fares Karam, emirati singer Aryam and DJ Said Mrad.

The Arab artists will kick off the series of after-race concerts on November 26, with Flash Entertainment yet to reveal the following acts.

Speaking on the sidelines of the ongoing Arabian Travel Market, Aryam also revealed that a special repertoire of songs will be revealed on the concert night in celebration of the UAE National Day on December 2.

She said: "Just performing on stage with such legendary names is a great honour. It will be a memorable night, especially since we will be so close to the UAE National Day.

"Between now and the concert night, there will be a number of songs marking this special occasion that I hope to perform on stage."

Yas Marina Circuit's celebrity ambassador and race legend Mark Webber was also at the ATM to support the launch of Marsa Boxes , the newly launched hospitality suites during the race weekend, running from 26th-29th November.

Nine-time winner, Webber, will be hosting meet and greets with corporate guests.

He said: "The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was always one of the highlights of the season during my time as a F1 driver, not to mention a world championship decider as it was in 2010; unfortunately it didn’t go my way!"

Al Tareq Al Ameri, CEO of Yas Marina Circuit said: “With this year’s theme, 'Go Beyond', we are facing a similar target of 60,000 fans to descend onto Abu Dhabi for the races.

"Because this year the F1 is the closest it has ever been to the UAE National Day, we will bring in a few elements that will kick off the celebrations, one of which will be the Oasis Zone, a chance to allow fans to experience the emirati culture."

Al Ameri also said they are retailing a Friday one-day F1 ticket this year, with a 30 per cent discount on race tickets available until May 31.

Flash Entertainment has also announced all race ticket holders will receive a complimentary ticket for the after-race concert for November 26, while the first an exclusive number of ticket holders will also receive a complimentary ticket for Friday’s after-race concerts.
