Black and white dominated the runway during New York Fashion Week on Sunday but Harper Beckham, who took the front row, during mother Victoria Beckham's display became the show stopper.

She may have only just turned two, but it seems little Harper is already comfortable hobnobbing with the fashion world's A-list.

David and Victoria Beckham's daughter sat in a front-row position at her mother's spring/summer presentation at New York Fashion Week today, and happily chatted away to none other than Vogue boss Anna Wintour.

The youngster charmed the notoriously icy editor-in-chief to crack a smile.

Sitting in her father's lap, Harper looked camera-ready in a white baby Chloé summer dress, stylish topknot and little pumps to finish her look.

Former footballer David, meanwhile, looked as dapper as ever in a dark suit, pale blue shirt and skinny tie.

Victoria Beckham's show on Sunday was the latest in a string of collections at New York Fashion Week adhering almost entirely to a black and white palette.

Her looks were sporty, with short pleated skirts, the season's omnipresent cropped tops and flouncy hemlines over knee-length shorts.

Describing her collection, the celebrity designer said she set "boyish elements against a sense of femininity."

Some of Beckham's pieces were all-black or all-white, and she would use unusual structure or overlaid textures to bring them to life.

Mixing the two colors, a short black dress revealed a pleated white skirt, peeking out from under an angled hemline, and a spaghetti-strapped black top was trimmed with white pleats at the midriff.

All the black and white was accented with just a brief splash of hot pink and a subdued rust.
