The 27-year-old Burberry model - who originally hails from Devon, England - has revealed that she loves to throw weekly dinner parties at her home in Los Angeles as a way to maintain her British roots - although she admitted that she isn't a fan of the nation's favourite beverage, tea.

She shared: "I have a lot of British friends in LA which helps me stay rooted. I have a good roast once a week and invite my British friends over. I don't drink tea - I'm probably the only British girl you'll meet who doesn't drink tea - but I do like a Hobnob or Rich Tea [biscuit]."

Despite enjoying her traditional roasts, the blonde beauty - who is currently dating 'Furious 7' actor Jason Statham, 47 - admitted that she wishes people were better educated about nutrition and even suggests that people start growing their own vegetables to stay healthy.

Talking to the Stylist magazine, Rosie said: "It's important to understand that we eat to fuel ourselves rather than to fill ourselves up."

Before adding: "I'd also give everyone a patch of land so they can grow vegetables and fruit. I have one at home; I grow all different types of things like herbs, tomatoes and greens."

The 22-year-old star earns an average of £6,500 per day after securing several lucrative fashion contracts with Chanel, Victoria's Secret and her own clothing collection with DKNY.

According to accounts filed at Companies House by her business Cara & Co, the fashion darling has added to her £1.1 million earnings from 2012 after it was revealed that she had earned a total of £1.3 million in 2013.

The accounts also showed that Cara pays herself a salary of £326,349 as the director of the company.

Cara - who was recently unveiled as the face of the Topshop Christmas campaign - has enjoyed plenty of success over the past 12 months, after she starred in Burberry's 'My Burberry' perfume advert alongside the veteran supermodel Kate Moss in September. She has also featured in several advertisements for Yves Saint Laurent as she became the face of their Babydoll mascara earlier this year.

The beautiful brunette has yet to comment on her salary on Twitter where she has 1.93 million followers, instead she was busy tweeting about the release of the new Topshop campaign.

On Instagram, she posted a photograph of herself posing alongside Topshop CEO Sir Philip Green and pop star Beyonce.

She captioned the picture with: "Thanks again uncle Phil (sic)"

The Brazilian model - who is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret - has helped to design 75 different styles in both one-piece and two-piece separates, as well as coverups, all of which she says have been inspired by her "Brazil-Bohemia-meets Malibu-Chic lifestyle".

Reflecting on her new collection, the 33-year-old beauty explained: "Being from Brazil I grew up spending a lot of time by the beach so it was only natural that my collection expends to swimwear.

"Brazilians are a bit more liberal with their swim choices, especially when it comes to cuts, so I incorporated both Brazilian and American cuts into this collection."

Alessandra told PEOPLE: "It is very important to feel comfortable while wearing swimwear, and that is why I incorporated many different shapes and very comfortable fabrics into this collection.

"I went one step further by making sure that the pieces are very durable and will last for years."

Alessandra, who has two children with businessman Jamie Mazur - daughter Anja, six, and son Noah, two - also offered some fashion tips, saying it's important to "find a swimsuit that works for your body shape".

However, she said: "There are a few pieces from Forever on Vacation, Palm Summer and Joshua Tree styles that are perfect for anyone."
