Filipina beauty queen Shamcey Supsup to marry Lloyd Lee

Filipina beauty queen Shamcey Supsup, who was third runner-up in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant, is engaged to marry her boyfriend of two years on December 29.
 
She and Lloyd Lee had reportedly formalised their wedding plans in a Tinghun, or Chinese engagement ceremony, which was attended by beauty queens Venus Raj and Janine Tugonon on Sunday at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel, in Metro Manila’s Mandaluyong City.
 
“Happy 2nd anniversary to my fiancé @lloydtylee,” she posted on her Instagram on the day of their engagement as a caption to a photo of her and Lee embracing. “Looking forward to forever with you.”
 
It was a report on ABS-CBN’s ‘The Buzz’ aired on June 16 that revealed the couple’s wedding date towards the end of the year.
 
Reports in the entertainment press said Supsup looked elegant in a green dress while Lee, who had earlier given her a promise ring as a sign of his commitment, was in a black suit.
 
In an interview published earlier, Supsup said of the promise ring, “It’s the symbol of our commitment to each other—that we always have to keep our promises even if our relationship is not perfect.”
