All is well: Aamir Khan escapes unhurt

The schedule of actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan’s upcoming TV show is likely to get disrupted.

A fire broke out on the sets of his yet-to-be-launched show on Monday night.

Aamir escaped the fire since he had left the studio just half an hour before the major fire broke out.

The entire set that was still under construction — located near Madh Island, Mumbai — has been burnt to ground, but luckily no one was hurt.

Around four fire engineers were pressed into action. But the set was completely gutted. The production team will have to reconstruct from the scratch.

Due to some electrical fault, the set caught fire and within minutes spread across the sets.

Luckily very few people were around when the fire broke out. About 20 people from the light and set department were wrapping light adjustments when the fire broke out.

The show is being produced by Aamir Khan Productions and was expected to go on air in early 2012.

It has also been reported that since the fire brigade officials were not allowing anyone to enter the set, Aamir changed his plan to go to the sets on Tuesday morning instead of Monday night.
