Grandpa Amitabh Bachchan gets back to work

The finale of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 5' was shot on Thursday night with Amitabh Bachchan. 

Big B who just had a grandchild from son Abhishek Bachchan seemed emotionally charged. 

He was particularly moved to see a video clip played by the KBC team which showed the journey of the host along with the show. 

Talking to Emirates 24|7 KBC crew members revealed, "The finale welcomed back the jackpot winner Sushil Kumar, 1 crore winner Anil Kumar and two other winners." 

"A number of video clips were played during the show airing the various candid moments of KBC and the participants." 

"A video clip also showed the 5 crore winner Sushil Kumar's journey before and after he hit the jackpot. Audiences also interacted with Sushil Kumar asking him about his experiences." 

Over a decade Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) has become one of the most watched non-fiction TV game show. 

The game show is based on the UK original 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' offers winners with a jackpot of Rs 5 crore (approx. Dh 3.7m). 

Season 5 saw an upsurge of common man who came in the show, played and won. The common man factor also worked for the show earning it highest rating of 8 TVR points when Sushil won. Approximately 27 million people watched the show. 

An emotionally charged Big B wrote in his blog, "It has been an exceptional season this year and when one leaves such environs there is bound to be a deep feeling of not wanting to depart. All the little little things that made up these extraordinary days on set was of a very distinguished quality." 

With the fantastic run of season 5 fans hope to see the return of superstar Amitabh Bachchan with Kaun Banega Crorepati season 6.
