The angry young man of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan wants to maintain his youthful image with no intentions of retiring any time soon. His upcoming flick, 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap' (BHTB) aptly fits his persona as Big B will be seen playing a role much less than his age.

“Puri Jagannath, who had made the original version of ‘Dabangg’ in South has directed 'Bbudah Hoga Terra Baap'. He wrote the story keeping me in mind. Puri is my huge fan and he wanted to portray me in a different manner.

Ramu (Ram Gopal Varma) gave me his reference saying that he is a very promising director.

When I heard the script I liked it very much and decided to make it under our own production house. But I wanted to make it in a very low budget. The film has been made in a budget of about Rs10crore and it is has come out very beautifully.

The story is about Biju (me) an ex-gangster who lives in Paris. Biju comes to India for a mission which forms the crux of the story," says Amitabh Bachchan.

Playing the character of a young man, Big B had to work hard on his physique.

Speaking about the experience he says, “This was a tough role for me because I had to play a 25 years old boy’s character and everybody knows what my real age is.

I had to be colorful but with little arrogance which is not my trait in real life.

I believe that today’s generation is brighter, faster and smarter.

They want everything with a shortcut or in a hurry and for them it is good.

They give the entire answer in one word. Things have changed hence I had to work out on this a lot. Doing physical actions or other things at this age is little tough.

But my habit of going to the gym helped me a lot. Also I gave several inputs in the making process. In all it was a memorable experience.”

Apart from the young avatar of Big B the movie also has in store some good tracks sung by him.

Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to three songs in 'BHTB'. “I have sung three songs in the movie and it all happened accidentally. Actually I was listening to the tracks composed by Vishal-Shekhar and singing along with it. I could relate it with ‘Mere Angne Mein’. I liked the song so much that I called Vishal and said that I wanted to sing it. He agreed saying it as a great idea.

Later on we ended up doing three songs. There is a song where the vocal and the music track, both are all sung by me. I like singing early in the morning as the throat is clear and the mind is fresh. Hence I recorded most of the songs early in the morning. It really feels good to play that music; I love it,” says an excited Amitabh.

Even at the age of 68, Amitabh Bachchan is seen as the lead actor in several movies. A long successful innings in Bollywood and some sparkle on the small screen have added a lot of bounty to Big B's account.

And this actor wishes to distribute his wealth equally among his two kids, Abhishek and Shweta. “I have always loved both my children equally. I have never differentiated between them for any reason. When I turn 70,

I have decided that I will distribute all my property equally to Abhishek and Shweta and I want to do it before I die. Both my children are equal for me so everything will be equally distributed to them," says the loving father.

Speaking about the relationship he shares with his children Amitabh says, "Before Abhishek was born I had decided that if I have a boy I would make him my best friend. The day Abhishek wore my shoes he became my friend. Now we both share a chemistry like friends. He tells me everything and never hesitates for any matter.

The way we upbring our children matters a lot in their career graph. But I have always kept some space for Shweta because being a girl she needs an independent environment.

I have given her all the freedom that a girl needs. She also takes part in all the important decision that we make. Today also when there is any dispute or problem Shweta comes in and solves it. We all listen to her and its her final word on all decisions."

But when Amitabh was a child, he used to share a completely different relationship with his dad. “My equation with my father was different from the kind of relation that I have with Abhishek.

We kept a natural distance from each other because earlier that was considered as respect. I never disturbed him because he was too busy in his writings. It would have affected his creativity, hence a little distance.

But I was emotionally close to my father and he used to teach me all the right values. Today what I am is just because of his teachings and his values," says Amitabh.

This actor has learnt a lot from his parents and till date uses their line of thought to make important decisions in life, he says, "Today my parents are not there but their teachings and values are always with me.

Whenever in a deciding situation, the first thing that I ask myself is what would my parents do in a similar situation, and I follow the same thing,” says Amitabh.

Always held his head high, Amitabh Bachchan has done movies very sensitively and he says he wants to be a gentleman till his last movie. “I have never used any slang in my life. I am very sensitive about languages and words.

I will never use any abusive words neither will do any sensual scenes. I am not comfortable with it because I believe my family should not feel ashamed of any of my acts or movies,” concludes Big B.

We hope that this legend continues to entertain the audience as a true gentleman, with a touch of his surprising acts and performances.
